How To Close an application on the Samsung Blackjack

On the Samsung Blackjack most applications do not automatically shut down when you stop using them. This means they are still running in memory and they can slow down your phone if you have too many programs running at the same time. Unfortunately a lot of applications do not even include a menu to close the application. This is a feature of windows mobile and is not specific only to the blackjack. There is an easy way though to close any application in windows mobile. This method relies on using the windows task manager to close an application.

To access the task manager hold down the home key for a long press:





This will open up the task manager. Then just scroll to whichever application you want to close and press the left soft key to stop it. Doing this will close the application and free any memory that the application was using. There are also options in the task manager for checking your battery status and available drive space.
