Many of the hacks or modifications to the Samsung Blackjack that are featured on this and other websites can only be run after unlocking your phone. By default many files on the Blackjack are locked and there are certain setting that you can not change. Luckily unlocking the blackjack is a simple process to do.
The easiest way to do this is:
- Download this file to your computer: http://www.motosmartzone.com/inventory/software/a6/appunlock.cab
- Connect your Blackjack to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Once the Microsoft Active Sync screen opens copy the .cab file to your blackjack.
- On the blackjack navigate to the .cab file and run it.
You can also unlock your phone by altering the windows registry directly using a registry editor such as PHM registry editor. This is a bit more complicated though and does the same thing as the previous easier method I outlined.
