Samsung Blackjack Shortcut Keys

Here is a list of the shortcut keys on the Samsung Blackjack that I find myself using the most.

• Home key (Long press) - Opens up the task manager. This allows you to stop running applications and check free memory and battery life.
• Fn+B - Turns On/Off Bluetooth. When you are not using Bluetooth it is a good idea to switch it off for extended battery life.
• T (page up), V (Page down) - In internet explorer you can scroll faster using these shortcuts.
• End Key (Long Press) - Lock the keyboard.
• Power Button then * - Unlock the keyboard
• E (Long press) - Dial Voice mail
• Send Key (Long Press) - Turn on/off speaker phone
• Power key (short press) - Quicklist. You can set your active profile here if you want to switch to silent or outdoors mode for example.
  
• Back Key (long press) - In internet explorer when in the address bar this will delete all of the URL except the http:// portion. In other applications this will usually delete the text contents of whatever field you are in.
  
• Hold Down any key - Enters the alternate character for this key (normally a symbol).
• Hold down side back button - By default brings up the camera application. Although you can re-assign this to another application if you want.
• Hold down side side jog dial - brings up a quick list of applications. You can edit this list to add whatever applications you use most.
• Volume up (long press) - start the voice recorder application.
